Joe Stone, a native of Long Island, NY and graduate of Chaminade HS, attended Furman University where he played defense for the Paladins.  While at Furman, Coach Stone played all four year as Furman and was a team leader in ground balls and caused turnover and was a mainstay on the SoCon Academic Honor Roll and All Conference list.
